KID PITCH (Minors AA Division)

This  division continues to focus on player development without the competition placed on every game and inning.  The division is made up of  7 & 8 year old players. The coaches work to develop pitching, catching, and the "game" of baseball.  Before each game the teams will have extra warm-up time for practicing.  Again, this age is critical to player development.   In this division the players are introduced to "OUTS", an inning is complete when a team gets three outs or 5 runs whichever comes first.  Batters will face pitchers that are learning to pitch but Bases on Balls will not be issued. When a player throws 4 balls to a batter the coach will come in and pitch so that all players can still focus on hitting too. STRIKEOUTS are introduced at this level. The game time is 6 innings or 2 hours whichever comes first.
